Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Inpatient RN with over 1 year of clinical experience to join a fast-paced, intermediate care unit specializing in neuro and medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Implementing nursing interventions, medication administration, and managing surgical sites, drains, and catheters
• Monitoring patients via telemetry and conducting frequent physical assessments
• Ensuring patient safety through proper documentation and safety protocols
• Providing excellent communication with patients and families through hourly rounding and bedside reports
• Maintaining compliance with departmental standards and quality measures, especially for stroke/TIA patients

Qualifications

• RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS within 1 year)
• Over 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting
• Strong clinical skills in medication management, telemetry, and patient assessments
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated, supportive team
