Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care - Part-Time Night Shift

About the Role

Provides direct patient care on a telemetry unit, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions for patients requiring close cardiac monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Promotes respectful, equitable, and empathetic interactions with diverse populations.
• Communicates changes in patient condition and updates care plans accordingly.
• Participates in professional development and quality improvement activities.
• Ensures evidence-based practice for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assesses patient needs and barriers, implements and documents care plans, evaluates patient progress.
• Communicates effectively with the healthcare team and patients to ensure safe, personalized care.

Requirements

• Licensed RN with a diploma, associate's, or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Safety-conscious and adaptable.
