Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Full Time 12 Hour Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse supports patient care by implementing the nursing process, ensuring safety, recovery, and comfort. They provide education, advocacy, and practice in compliance with regulatory standards, collaborating with the care team to improve quality and unit services. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plansEnsure safe patient environment, prevent harm, and promote healingEducate patients on their conditions, self-care, and abnormal findingsAssist in shift planning, unit improvement, and resource managementPrecept, train, and validate competencies of new staff and studentsDelegate tasks appropriately and communicate effectively with team membersParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an RN program; BSN preferred1+ years of clinical experience in acute care preferredCalifornia RN license; active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicableSpecialty certifications and experience in orthopedics, stroke, or cardiac cath lab are advantageousStrong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills Additional Information: The role involves practicing to full scope within legal boundaries, supporting quality care delivery, and adhering to regulatory and institutional standards.
