Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care using the nursing process. Key Duties: Evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and ensure professional accountability. Patient Population: Diverse, including post-op CABG/valve, neurosurgical, trauma, renal, and others. Responsibilities include: Providing direct patient care, assessing needs, and collaborating to optimize outcomes. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN). Must hold and maintain current RN licensure in the state or compact licensure. Certifications: BLS required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, and others may be required based on unit specifics, with some needing completion within a designated timeframe. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk extensively, and perform tasks requiring gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
