About the role
We are hiring registered nurses for all adult ICU departments, including Cardiothoracic Vascular, Trauma/Surgical, Medical/Cardiac, and Neuroscience ICUs. This role involves providing direct patient care across diverse age groups, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, and assisting with tests, procedures, and emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care and adhere to hospital policies
- Administer medications and document clinical findings
- Participate in patient discharge planning and education
- Assist with emergency measures and ensure a therapeutic environment
- Support new staff through orientation and precepting
- Promote patient safety by following protocols and reporting concerns
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the state or reciprocal agreement
- CPR/BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days if not already held)
- IV verification within six months
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, bilingual skills, and specialty certification
