Registered Nurse – Inpatient – All Shifts

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in inpatient Progressive Care Units (PCUs) provides direct patient care across various specialties, including Coronary Care, Oncology, Family Medicine, Neuroscience, and Surgical Units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and document individualized care plans.
• Assist with tests, procedures, and obtain informed consent.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy and monitor patient responses.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and education.
• Participate in orientation, training, and professional development of new staff.
• Engage in clinical leadership, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety protocols, report concerns, and promote patient engagement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in the state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• IV verification required within six months of hire.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods) and work in hazardous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Bilingual abilities.
• Specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, OCN).
