Registered Nurse - Inpatient

About the role

We are seeking two full‑time Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Inpatient Orthopedic team — one for the day shift and one for the night shift. In this role you will work alongside an all‑RN staff in a highly specialized orthopedic setting, caring for post‑operative orthopedic patients while collaborating with physicians and physical therapists to help patients achieve successful recovery outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop deep expertise in a single specialty, maintain meaningful patient connections, and serve as the primary coordinator of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver total patient care throughout the recovery process
• Administer medications and monitor patient response
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge plans
• Prepare and serve patient meals as needed
• Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and unit environments
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists
• Monitor patient progress and help patients achieve recovery goals

Requirements

Current RN license; medical‑surgical experience is strongly encouraged. Orthopedic experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule

Full‑time day shift and night shift positions available. Three 12‑hour shifts per week, providing a consistent schedule and work‑life balance.
