About the role
VTP Holdings seeks to hire a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Vascular Access Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vascular access procedures and be able to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and mobile vascular access support services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare providers.
- Insert vascular access devices and provide post-access support services such as declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting.
- Offer continuing education, precepting and other educational support to clinical team members and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, medical technology).
- At least 5 years of experience in vascular access procedures.
- Current certification in vascular access procedures (e.g., CVIS, CVISX).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
