About the role

Responsibilities

• Represents The University of Chicago Medicine (UCMC) in a positive manner with the prospective, former and current community we serve;
• Interacts effectively with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and other customers of our services;
• Demonstrates knowledge of the operating practices of UCMC.

Requirements

• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy card within 3 months of hire;
• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN degree or higher preferred;
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Indiana;
• CPR/BLS through the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy card within 3 months of hire;
• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN degree or higher preferred;
• Associate Degree Nurses are required to enroll in a BSN program within six (6) to nine (9) months of hire, and make progress toward and complete their BSN degree within 30 months;
• ADN nurses receive 100% tuition reimbursement towards a BSN degree from an accredited program;
• OCN preferred;
• Experience working in a research environment;
• Chemotherapy experience preferred.
