Registered Nurse- Infusion Float

About the role

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Infusion Clinic Float Pool team. This is a day shift position that floats between all four main locations: Plaza, Lee's Summit, North Kansas City, and Overland Park.

Responsibilities

• In a hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
• Strong time management, teamwork, communication, and multi-tasking skills are important for success.
• Previous experience with infusion strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: 2 years
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse (KS) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Registered Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
