About the Role
The professional nurse on the Surgical Tower Unit uses the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care. The professional nurse considers the patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, language barriers, age, teaching needs, and readiness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge of EKG monitoring and treatment of hypotension and dysrhythmias.
- Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used medications and possesses skill in calculating medications and fluid dosages.
- Follows the hospital chest pain protocol.
- Demonstrates knowledge of physiologic changes and common complications associated with specific disease states.
Requirements
California RN License
Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a RN I position

Pay
$51.03 - $84.34 hourly
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience, California RN License
