About the role
The Intensive Care Unit is a 12-bed Medical and Respiratory MICU caring for patients with acute medical issues such as sepsis, GI bleeding, post code blue and respiratory issues. On this unit, registered nurses typically have a 1:2 ratio and 1:1 ratio patients that meet the criteria. Each room has a HEPA filter, PAPRS readily available, and RNs receive a new N95 mask per day.
Responsibilities
- Care for critically ill patients with acute medical conditions
- Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Current California RN license
- At least 1 year of acute care experience
- Experience with critical care equipment and procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology

Pay
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
