About the role

Award-winning healthcare provider Ascension seeks a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. This position requires advanced life support certification, BLS provider, and a current RN license.

Responsibilities

• Titrating high-alert vasoactive drips and managing invasive monitoring
• Managing complex mechanical ventilation and weaning protocols
• Operating life-sustaining equipment such as CRRT, Impella, and IABP
• Leading Rapid Response and Code Blue interventions using ACLS/BLS protocols

Requirements

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting

Preferences

• One to two years of acute care experience
• CV experience preferred for Florida locations
