Registered Nurse ICU Travel

Role Overview

This position involves providing critical care as a registered nurse in multiple acute care hospitals, with responsibilities including titrating vasoactive drips, managing invasive monitoring, operating life-sustaining equipment, and leading Rapid Response and Code Blue interventions using ACLS/BLS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Tirate high-alert vasoactive medications and manage arterial and central lines.
• Handle complex mechanical ventilation, troubleshoot, analyze ABGs, and facilitate weaning.
• Operate life-support devices such as CRRT, Impella, and IABP for multi-organ failure cases.
• Lead emergency responses including Rapid Response and Code Blue using advanced ACLS/BLS protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license (compact or state-specific) before starting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month and Advanced Life Support (ALS) within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in acute care; additional preference for CV experience in Florida locations.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
