Registered Nurse - ICU PRN

About the role

Provides direct nursing care in complex assessment and intervention settings, following organizational policies and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collects comprehensive patient data and analyzes assessments.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to set outcomes.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans.
• Evaluates patient progress and ensures safe nursing practices.
• Communicates effectively with all stakeholders.
• Applies evidence-based practices in patient care.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards and advancements.
• Performs additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
• Sensory acuity including vision, hearing, smell, and touch.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid RN license in the respective state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent certifications such as ENPC, NRP, PALS, TNCC, or NRP Essentials, depending on the location.
