ICU Registered Nurse - PRN

About the role

Provides direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development activities.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional needs, and respects patient preferences and barriers.
• Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license required, with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years experience preferred if holding a Bachelor’s Degree.
