Registered Nurse, ICU Per Diem

About the Role

Provide part-time nursing care in an ICU setting, focusing on patient-centered practices and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and standards.
• Incorporate patient-centered care, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, treatment goals, and discharge strategies.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, ensuring communication and collaboration among healthcare team members.
• Conduct hourly patient rounds to enhance safety, communication, and anticipate patient needs.
• Support professional team leadership and demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Valid ACLS & BLS certifications.
• Preferably, one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Handle with Care certification or ability to obtain within six months.
