Registered Nurse - ICU/PCU - RN

About the role

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Post-Cardiac Surgery (PCU) unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions based on medical guidelines.
• Participate in daily huddles and rounds to discuss patient progress and plan care.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of critical care nursing practices.

Pay

$40.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
