About the role
Sentara Health is hiring Registered Nurses for the ICU at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. Shifts: Full Time Nights, Full‑Time Days.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) performs competent nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, evaluation) and adheres to professional practice standards including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN applies clinical knowledge and skills to meet specialty‑specific standards and maintains any requirements defined by the specialty.
Requirements
- Education: RN‑Associate’s Degree, RN‑Bachelor’s Degree, RN‑Diploma, or RN‑Master’s Degree.
