To fulfill the needs of patients in a variety of age groups, their family members, and the community by performing varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform varied patient care tasks and functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
- Physically assist patients, requiring stretching, bending, lifting, sitting, kneeling, stooping, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, including speech clarity and understanding relayed information.
- Apply deductive and inductive reasoning skills to problem-solving.
- Perform tasks accurately and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Function competently in stressful situations and changing work environments related to patient needs.
- Work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary health system team (e.g., MDs, Rehab, Respiratory, DI, Laboratory).
- Utilize effective time management skills to set priorities, perform responsibilities, problem-solve, and deliver care.
- Engage in considerable walking, standing, sitting, reaching, filing, typing, and photocopying.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
- Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
- CPR certifications (BLS & ACLS required).
- Computer and keyboard skills.
- Medical terminology required.

- Full range of body motion, including lifting (classified as Very Heavy Work: exerting in excess of 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly).
- Manual and finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination.
- Constant talking and listening in English.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Deductive and inductive reasoning.
- Ability to work accurately and manage multiple tasks without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Ability to function in high-stress, changing environments related to acute, chronic, complex, and/or terminal patient conditions.

Pay
Pay Range: $47.80 - $59.75 per hour. Actual individual salaries vary depending on role, experience, education, and licensure.

Night shift (United States of America).
