About the role
ICU Float Nurse responsible for providing direct patient care across multiple ICU departments in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, assess patient conditions, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and ensure adherence to physician and nursing orders.
- Adapt to various ICU units, including CVICU, Burns, MedSurg ICU, and Neuro ICU, with flexibility for assignments.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi‑state license.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
- Experience in ICU settings with a solid understanding of hemodynamics; training will be provided for specific units.
