About the Role

Join a dynamic healthcare team in Lubbock, TX, known for its vibrant community and friendly atmosphere. Our facility is seeking experienced professionals to enhance our Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Intensive Care Unit, including CV surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVD's, and neurosurgery.
• Interpret lab results and manage patient care accordingly.
• Float between units as needed.
• Work weekend shifts as required (6 weekend shifts to fulfill unit needs).

Requirements

• 3 years of travel experience in ICU.
• Proficiency in CV surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVD's, neurosurgery, and lab interpretation.

Qualifications

Experienced professionals with a strong background in intensive care and related specialties.

Skills

• Ability to manage complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

• 48 hours approved.
• Weekends required (6 shifts to fulfill unit needs).
• Block schedules not required.
• Expected ratios: 1:2.

Uniform/Dress Code

• Licensed Nursing Personnel: Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.)
• Unlicensed Personnel: Solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire.
