Registered Nurse ICU

About the role

Provides specialized nursing care in a Neuro ICU setting, delivering compassionate, high-quality patient treatment. Acts as a care coordinator, ensuring effective communication among healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Monitors, assesses, and documents patients' conditions, executing physician orders accurately. Responsible for planning patient discharges and facilitating smooth transitions of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care adhering to professional standards and protocols.
• Implement and adjust individualized care plans to promote healing.
• Serve as a central communication hub among physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patient status through clinical observation, documentation, and timely communication.
• Coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
