Registered Nurse ICU
About the role
Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN), following established clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans, adjusting interventions to support recovery and clinical goals.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition changes to the interdisciplinary team for coordinated, patient-centered care.
Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while maintaining compliant and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR).
Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferences
- 1 year previous critical care experience preferred.
