About the Role

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, modeling a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, patient status, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology for complete understanding. Prepares patients and families for future self-management and manages evidence-based practices to meet and exceed quality measures.

Responsibilities

• Manage evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver holistic patient treatment plans.

Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required (compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation).
• Associate Degree.
• 1 year of experience.
• No travel required.
