Registered Nurse, ICU

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. Responsibilities

- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. - Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on identified needs. - Provide care that is appropriate to the patient’s condition and age. - Timely and appropriately document medical necessity in the medical record. - Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Requirements

- Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license. - Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. - ACLS certification within 90 days of hire. - Associate's degree in nursing is required (Bachelor's degree preferred). - At least 1-2 years of recent ICU experience.

Qualifications

- Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in an ICU. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure under pressure.

Schedule

3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Night Shift (7p - 7a) + rotating weekends.
