Registered Nurse House Operations Administrator Per Diem

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse House Operations Administrator (HOA) serves as the top clinical and operational leader during assigned shifts, overseeing hospital-wide patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency responses. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, interpret and enforce policies, and make real-time decisions to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.Support frontline staff, coordinate interdepartmental activities, and maintain situational awareness of capacity and resource needs.Exercise independent judgment in resolving complex issues, allocating resources, and directing clinical and operational activities. Qualifications & Skills BSN required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.Current, unrestricted RN license in Illinois, CPR certification, and ACLS certification (or within 90 days of hire).Minimum three years of progressive nursing experience, including at least two in leadership roles, with critical care experience preferred.Leadership ability, strong critical thinking, decision-making skills, and excellent communication.
