Registered Nurse - Hospitalist PRN Premium

Responsibilities

• Schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
• Carefully coordinates patient flow.
• Assists physicians and staff with daily coordination of patient care.
• Prepares exam rooms and assists physicians during examinations, treatments, and tests.
• Documents patient history, vital signs, immunizations, and allergies.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments, including IVs.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, and assists with Flexsigmoidoscopies.

Qualifications

• One year professional nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.
• Proficient in the English language, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
