Responsibilities
- Analyze patient’s medical record for proper utilization of resources (beds and services) and accurate payment.
- Develop the Hospital database for case management and severity implications.
- Analyze patient’s charts for quality of services rendered and intervene to assure the delivery of quality care.
- Communicate with patients and/or their families regarding the medical necessity of hospital stay.
- Communicate with appropriate departments to accurately determine level of care at discharge and participate in discharge planning.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a minimum of five years of job-related experience or equivalent.
- Active RN license.
