About the role
Florence County, SC-based position available.
Responsibilities
- Assess and implement patient care using remote care technology.
- Direct Licensed Practical Nurses to ensure quality patient care.
- Collaborate with all caregiver staff for interdisciplinary coordination of patient care.
- Provide field supervision of Home Health Aides (HHA).
- Work interdependently with Referral-Intake-Scheduling- Authorization (RISA) staff, managers, Practice Support, Billing Specialists, and clerical support.
- Maintain knowledge of State Licensure Laws, Conditions of Participation of the Federal Health Insurance Program for the Aged and Disabled, and JCAHO, OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of medical surgical nursing practice.
- Show good communication skills and focus on patient-centered care.
- Exercise adaptability and initiative in carrying out work assignments.
- Seek and acquire necessary information to function efficiently within a clinical model emphasizing coordinated patient care.
- Achieve understanding of patient growth and development across the lifespan.
Qualifications
- At least two years of nursing experience preferred.
- One year home care experience highly desirable.
Requirements
- Current valid South Carolina or compact (multi-state) RN license.
- BLS certification.
