Registered Nurse - Home Health

About the role

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide home care services to patients in the Greater Cassopolis and surrounding areas. Our agency, AdvisaCare, is part of a fast-paced, established Home Health/Medicare division expanding its team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and service to patients in the comfort of their homes.
• Work independently with one patient per visit, allowing for personalized care.
• Engage in real conversations and connections with patients and their caregivers.
• Coordinate with other members of the Home Health Team for a holistic approach to patient care.
• Perform tasks such as wound care, including using wound vacs, drains, tubes, ostomies, trachs, catheters, plurex drains, infusions, and LVADs.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills as needed.

Requirements

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• One (1) year of Home Health nursing experience preferred.
• Updated Tuberculin (TB) test and current CPR certification.
• A clear criminal history and drug screen.
• A compassionate and caring demeanor, with a professional appearance.
• The ability to travel within a 30-mile radius of your home.
• Critical thinking, task competence, and the ability to handle situations quickly.
