Registered Nurse - Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center
About the role
Infusion RN for a busy hematology and oncology infusion center at the St. Luke's East campus. Functions independently and is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team, delegates tasks appropriately, identifies hospital resources, and serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department. Schedules emergent-need appointments. Provides patient education on particular procedures and processes. Serves as a subject matter expert in the respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units. Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments. Will have face-to-face contact with patients. Patient care time within the clinic typically involves patients with a long-term treatment process. Work is generally performed within a specialty clinic setting.

Requirements
- 1 year of applicable experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree
Schedule
Part-time day shift, Monday through Friday (3 days per week), 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology or infusion experience
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (may be obtained after hire)

- Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment in a busy infusion center
