About the role

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role.

Join the Hematology Oncology Ambulatory team and provide coordinated, patient-centered care for complex hematology and oncology patients in a fast-paced specialty clinic supporting 7 physicians, 1 physician assistant, and 6 nurse practitioners. This Monday through Friday, day-shift position (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) focuses on care coordination, symptom and medication management, treatment oversight, diagnostic and specialty care navigation, and real-time support of provider and patient care needs.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple pathways of care across the healthcare continuum. Qualifications

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
