About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) Per Diem provides high-quality, patient-centered care on a fast-paced, teamwork-oriented Cardiac Progressive Care unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient assessments
- Support medical decision-making through data analysis
- Implement prescribed treatments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Seek guidance from senior medical professionals for complex cases
- Maintain adherence to protocols to promote safety
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (preferred Bachelor's)
- At least 1 year of RN experience in a relevant clinical specialty
- Active licensure in North Carolina or a Compact state
- North Carolina RN license
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA
