About the role
The University of Miami UHealth Tower Head & Neck Department seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner. This role oversees nurses and allied health staff, prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and delivers patient care, and directs and guides patient and family teaching.
Responsibilities
- Delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service.
- Oversees nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice.
- Prescribes, coordinates, evaluates, and delivers patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care.
- Directs and guides patient and family teaching.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
- RN with Associates (ASN) degree must complete BSN within 2 years.
- Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-CPR Certification).
- Average two (2) years Medical Surgical Nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-CPR Certification).
- Average two (2) years Medical Surgical Nursing experience.
