Registered Nurse - GIG Emergency Department

Role: Emergency Department Registered Nurse in a GIG Nursing Program, providing flexible shift options and immediate patient care impact. Responsibilities: Self-schedule minimum hours, adapt to short-notice staffing needs, and handle shift cancellations. Deliver quality emergency care across day and night shifts, with opportunities for 4, 8, or 12 hours. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a preferred BSN. Must hold an active RN license in the state or compact license, and have at least 2 years of recent emergency bedside experience. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Epic EMR experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform patient care tasks involving reaching, bending, and twisting. Skills: Strong emergency nursing skills, adaptability, and excellent patient care abilities. Ability to work independently within a flexible scheduling environment.
