Registered Nurse - General Surgery

About the role

Join a dynamic 26-bed General Surgery unit as a registered nurse, providing care for surgical, trauma, and adult burn patients with varying lengths of stay. You will treat patients undergoing surgeries such as general, colorectal, dental, trauma, plastics, and weight loss, within a multidisciplinary team that fosters support, teaching, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute and post-operative care tailored to patient needs
• Participate in a collaborative team environment focused on patient safety and quality care
• Support professional development through certifications and continuing education
• Engage in the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP) for career progression

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license or recognized compact license
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Relevant clinical experience in surgical or trauma care
