Job Description Registered Nurse – General Surgery Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK | Potential Opportunity Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse – General Surgery to support surgical services at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Join a skilled clinical team providing exceptional care throughout the surgical experience. Position Highlights Full-time opportunity Monday-Friday (40hrs per wk) Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits PTO and sick leave Position Requirements U.S. Citizenship Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. jurisdiction 1 year of RN experience within the last 2 years 1 year of experience in a Surgery Clinic, Step-Down Unit, ICU, or PACU within the last 5 years Current BLS certification ACLS and PALS certification, or ability to obtain within the first 2 months of employment Key Responsibilities Provide preoperative and postoperative patient education Coordinate surgical scheduling and patient care Support postoperative recovery and PACU services as assigned Administer medications and monitor patient conditions Assist with clinical procedures and surgical care coordination Bring your surgical nursing experience to a team supporting those who serve!
