About the role
Join a 18-bed Med/Surg unit as a Clinical Nurse, providing direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Developing individualized care plans
- Educating patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs
- Promoting patient safety and quality standards
- Participating in professional development activities
- Utilizing critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds
- Working collaboratively with an interprofessional team to ensure seamless communication and care continuity
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a healing, patient-centered environment
Qualifications
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license
- Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience and supervisor experience are preferred
