Registered Nurse - General Cardiology

About the Role

A qualified nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in accordance with their practice level.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Schedule

Full-time position with work hours from 6:30 AM to 3 PM.
