Registered Nurse - General Cardiology

About the Role

A registered nurse responsible for providing independent, routine, and complex patient care within a clinical setting. Demonstrates clinical competence by managing contingencies, making appropriate assignments, and delegating tasks to care providers to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources

Requirements

• Current RN license in the respective state or a compact license
• BLS certification required

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum one year of related nursing experience preferred

Schedule

Full-time role with working hours from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, requiring independent practice and adherence to standards of care.
