About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care across multiple hospital units.
Responsibilities
- Performing head-to-toe assessments
- Administering direct and indirect care
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms
- Communicating clinical changes to physicians
- Floating to all departments, utilizing triage skills to prioritize care and ensure timely treatment
- Demonstrating supportive bedside behaviors
- Evaluating patient outcomes
- Collaborating with healthcare teams for optimal care
Qualifications
- Current NV nursing license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- At least two years of critical care experience in settings such as ED, ICU, or PACU
- PALS certification must be obtained within six months of employment
