About the role
Full‑time night shift Inpatient Registered Nurse (PCU/Step‑Down/Tele RN) position at a small‑format hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and delivering age‑specific and specialty‑appropriate nursing care to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Following physician orders and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Adhering to infection control, aseptic techniques, and hospital policies.
- Collecting lab samples, performing tests, and managing patient admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
- Preparing equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures, assisting with treatments as needed.
- Completing quality assessments, attending meetings, and performing additional assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
- Current RN licensure without sanctions.
- At least 2 years of full‑time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).
- Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
- For Pennsylvania candidates, background clearances must be completed or obtained prior to employment.
