About the Role
We are seeking an Inpatient Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Tele RN) for a full-time night shift role in a small-format hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, and delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care
- Following physician orders and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- Adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques
- Collecting lab samples, performing tests, and managing admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Assembling equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures and assisting as needed
- Ensuring legal and institutional policy compliance in patient care
- Participating in quality assessment activities and documentation
- Attending staff meetings and performing extra assigned tasks
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred)
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state
- At least 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related healthcare roles
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
- Fluency in English; ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- For Pennsylvania RNs, background clearances (Act 33 and Act 73) or ability to obtain before starting
