Registered Nurse, Full-Time Days, Variable Shift, Endoscopy, Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center
About the role
The Endoscopy unit at Atlantic Health requires a Registered Nurse with knowledge of endoscopic procedures and equipment, as well as SGNA standards of practice.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administers medications to patients and monitors for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Makes assessments, implements, plans, and evaluates patient nursing care plans.
- Records patient vital signs and medical information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current NJ RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Able to push/pull/lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods.
- Obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
- Preferred: BSN, ACLS, PALS, CGRN, Endoscopy experience, Critical Care experience.

Skills
Knowledge of endoscopic procedures and equipment, as well as SGNA standards of practice.

Pay

Schedule
The department operates Monday – Friday 6:30am to 6pm, and Saturday, 7am-4pm, with an on-call team available any time the department is closed for emergencies.
