Responsibilities

• Provide superior care to assigned residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of administered treatments
• Engage in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Supervise several talented staff members
• Establish relationships with residents, families, and other members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where practicing
• Working knowledge of long-term care
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to become certified
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Experience or continuing education in the care of the elderly preferred
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner in all interactions
• Use a resident- and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn

This position requires compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process.

Pay

USD $34.10 - USD $42.62 /Hr

Schedule

Full Time Days - Skilled Nursing. Three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend.
