About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. They coordinate patient care across departments, maintain patient rights, and uphold confidentiality, aligning with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate services
- Ensure compliance with patient rights and confidentiality policies
- Maintain professional standards and accountability
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license and compliance with state/nursing board requirements
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and mobility tasks
- Certifications: BLS required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, or specialty certifications may be required based on department
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
