Responsibilities

  • Communicates with patients and businesses
  • Schedules tests and consultations
  • Obtains specimens
  • Absesses patients
  • Performs office procedures
  • Maintains clinical supplies

Requirements

  • Licensed by the State of Tennessee
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office setting
  • Proficient with Glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, autoclave, stethoscope, audioscope, phones, and oral/injectable medications
  • Ability to sit, stand, communicate effectively in English (both orally and in writing), and lift over 20 pounds
  • Accurately records patient histories and vital signs
  • Administers immunizations and injections as needed
  • Provides patient counseling on health issues
  • Maintains clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals
  • Cohorts referrals and secures consultations with specialists
  • Trairs phone calls and manages patient portal messages
  • Obtains prior authorizations for medications and tests
  • Ensures quality assurance for office lab
  • Coordinates with pharmacies to ensure patients have necessary medications

Qualifications
