About the role

Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, accuracy, and therapeutic treatment. Supervises team members, communicates effectively, and builds relationships to promote a collaborative atmosphere. Maintains compliance with hospital standards, policies, and care protocols. Demonstrates professional growth, accountability, and initiative to enhance patient experience and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, ensure safety, administer medications and IVs, document accurately, and educate patients and families.
  • Foster a safe, therapeutic environment and support professional development.
  • Adapt care based on patient age and needs.
  • Work Environment & Physical Demands: Involves standing, moving, lifting, and handling equipment, with exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin/hazardous irritants. Requires effective communication and visual acuity to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program;
  • Current Texas RN license;
  • BLS certification;
  • Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency;
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and care standards;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
