Registered Nurse Float Pool PRN

About the role

The Float RN is primarily responsible for delivering safe and quality patient care. They assess patients, develop care plans, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and ensure thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and gather relevant information for care planning
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Communicate patient needs and progress to physicians and other healthcare providers
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and make adjustments as needed
• Admit patients to appropriate units and coordinate admissions
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Document all pertinent information accurately and timely

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or a compact state
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Working knowledge of relevant regulatory and professional entities/guidelines

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Customer-focused interpersonal communication skills and patient confidentiality
• Compliance with HIPAA guidelines
